Our team consists of experts in these areas who are eager to share their knowledge.

We work with respect, professionalism, and openness for the county's residents – together for a sustainable future!

Description

We are looking for a legal colleague to the Legal Function within the Unit for Management and Operational Support.

Working as a lawyer with us will provide you with a varied everyday life where you have an important role to fill for both citizens and the authority. You will gain knowledge and development in several different areas of law with interesting and challenging issues closely related to the county. You will work in a group with other lawyers and a chief lawyer, and have the opportunity for both knowledge exchange and collaboration. You will participate in the development work at the Legal Function and have close cooperation with colleagues from other units.

Responsibilities

The lawyers at the County Administrative Board work in a wide range of legal areas, providing advice and support on legal matters across all of the Board's operations, which may include emergency preparedness and data protection. In addition to support activities, the lawyers handle and decide on their own cases, focusing on issues within the Planning and Building Act, the Environmental Code, and land management (Reindeer Husbandry Act and Land Code). The County Administrative Board is the appellate body when municipal decisions under the Environmental Code and the Planning and Building Act are appealed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a Swedish law degree (jur. kand) or equivalent and several years of experience in legal work within an administrative authority or court. You have good experience working with issues related to transparency and confidentiality as well as data protection. You have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, and several years of experience in preparing and independently making decisions. You should have a strong interest in working with issues related to the Planning and Building Act and the Environmental Code.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. As a person, you need to have a high level of personal maturity, be structured, and have good judgment.
